Organized in 2008 with a small budget, Prayers and Squares has grown rapidly as an interfaith outreach ministry.
The purpose is not to distribute quilts, but to promote prayer through the use of quilts. The idea is simple. Heavy threads are used to quilt the layers of the quilt, and the ends are left free to be tied into square knots. As each knot is tied, a silent prayer is said for someone in need, who will receive the finished quilt. The quilts are hung in the back of the church, so please stop by and say a prayer for someone in need.
They meet on the first and third Thursday of each month in classrooms 7, 8, & 9
